Joshua B is an accomplished vocal instructor with more than 8 years of music experience in the Tallahassee area. Having grown up singing in rural North Florida, he studied vocal performance at multiple institutions and completed his undergraduate degree in vocal performance at Reinhardt University, where he developed a deep passion for voice training and pedagogy. He has performed across several states and parts of Europe, including performances with the Atlanta Opera during their 2013-2014 season, where he demonstrated his professional operatic expertise. Joshua has completed multiple vocal pedagogy courses under prominent vocal pedagogues nationally and has successfully guided numerous students to admission at top music schools. His teaching philosophy prioritizes vocal health as the foundation of all instruction, ensuring that students develop sustainable, healthy singing techniques. Joshua teaches the fundamentals of voice across all genres and styles including opera, classical music, musical theater, country, blues, jazz, and rock, adapting his approach to meet each student's unique goals and learning style. He offers lessons in various settings including his studio, students' homes, or online via webcam.
