Jordan Birgy-Krasnoff is a voice and piano teacher based in Westlake Village, California, serving the Simi Valley and surrounding areas. She holds an Associate of Arts from Moorpark College and a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from California State University, Fullerton. Jordan has been studying voice for twelve years, beginning private instruction at age thirteen. Her performance experience includes operatic productions such as playing Greta Fiorentino in CSUF Opera's production of 'Street Scene,' as well as multiple appearances at the Hollywood Bowl performing with Andrea Bocelli and participation in 'Everybody Rise! A Sondheim Celebration' alongside Broadway legends. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes establishing healthy technique that serves as a foundation for stylistic variations across all types of genres, incorporating mixed register technique and semi-occluded vocal tract exercises to help students develop a balanced sound. Jordan's extensive performance background in both opera and musical theatre, combined with her formal training at CSUF, informs her approach to helping students master technique while exploring diverse musical styles.
