John Isenberg
About
John Isenberg is a collaborative pianist and vocal coach at Binghamton University, where he has served as adjunct faculty since 2011. A native of Endicott, New York, Isenberg brings over a decade of experience accompanying vocal students and coaching singers in studio voice classes, Opera Workshop performances, and numerous recitals. He has worked extensively with vocal ensembles and is known for his sensitive accompaniment and musical partnership with singers. From 2001 to 2012, Isenberg served at Tri-Cities Opera as a staff pianist and education coordinator, collaborating with professional singers and contributing to the opera company's educational programs. He performs regularly as a featured soloist with the Binghamton Baroque Orchestra, specializing in harpsichord and keyboard repertoire, and performs with the Songe d'été en musique Festival in Québec. Isenberg has accompanied master classes with Metropolitan Opera artists and brings professional-level accompaniment and coaching to his students. His musical background combines piano performance, vocal coaching, and educational leadership, making him an excellent resource for singers seeking accompaniment and collaborative artistic guidance.
