JoAna Rusche
About
Dr. JoAna Rusche is a mezzo-soprano who has appeared in operas, concerts, and recitals throughout the United States and Europe. She is on the voice faculty at the University of Central Arkansas where she teaches voice and serves the music department. Dr. Rusche received a D.M.A. in Voice Performance from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, and holds an M.M. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a B.M. in Voice and Piano Performance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is an alumna of the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. Opera News has praised her for being notably sweet-voiced. Dr. Rusche brings a wealth of professional performance experience and advanced vocal training to her teaching at UCA, preparing students for careers in opera and classical vocal performance.
