Jesse Cruce is the co-founder and primary instructor at St. Augustine Music Center, bringing over 25 years of musical expertise to his teaching. He grew up at his family's Palatka Music Center, where he developed a deep passion for music education and performance. Jesse studied Jazz Performance and Music Education at the University of North Florida, earning formal credentials in both performance and pedagogy. As a multi-instrumentalist, Jesse brings decades of experience and a profound belief in the transformative power of music to every lesson and class he teaches. His teaching philosophy emphasizes connection, joy, and lifelong learning, creating an environment where students feel empowered to explore their musical potential. At St. Augustine Music Center, located in beautiful Butler Beach, Jesse teaches a variety of instruments and vocal styles, and his approach combines technical instruction with an encouraging, supportive atmosphere.
