I use cutting-edge vocal physiology, high-level musicianship and performance intuition to help singers and singing teachers access their own unique skills. I'm a national prize-winning collaborative pianist, CPD-Accredited vocal coach and #1 bestselling author of multiple books on voice and performance for different ages and levels of experience. I cut my teeth on classical repertoire, worked as an opera repetiteur for national companies in the UK and spent 20+ years coaching and performing in London's West End and internationally. I now work with professional classical, CCM and MT singers and singing teachers, in the recording studio, on the concert platform and online. I also give career guidance for musicians and teachers wanting to upgrade their skills mid-life. Together with my wife Dr Gillyanne Kayes I run VocalProcess. My favourite clients are curious, talented and ask questions. If I have spare time I like making things - mostly cakes.
