Jennifer Powell is an accomplished mezzo-soprano with extensive teaching and performance experience. She holds a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Missouri State University. Jennifer has served on voice faculties at Missouri State University, Rockhurst University, and Tennessee University, where she taught private voice and diction courses. Her performance highlights include critically acclaimed opera roles, with Opera News noting her "strong, affecting" performance in Cavalleria Rusticana. She has performed at prestigious venues including Santa Fe Opera, Metropolitan Opera, and featured in New York Chamber Opera productions. Jennifer is a Metropolitan Opera Regional Finalist, Sara Tucker Grant Nominee, and a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists. She currently teaches voice at Arkansas Music Conservatory, bringing her wealth of professional experience to students in Northwest Arkansas.
