Jennifer Casey Cabot
About
Jennifer Casey Cabot is a soprano with three decades of international opera experience specializing in Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and Strauss. She earned a Bachelor of Music and BA (double degree) from Oberlin College and Conservatory (German and Voice) and Master of Opera from Yale University. She studied with renowned pedagogue Richard Miller (author of 'The Structure of Singing') and Doris Yarick-Cross. Jennifer has performed leading roles with New York City Opera, Washington National Opera, Boston Opera, San Diego Opera, Minnesota Opera, Arizona Opera, and others. She was a finalist in both the Bordeaux and Tokyo opera competitions and performed duet recitals with Placido Domingo in Germany and Japan. She has collaborated with conductors including Leonard Slatkin and Alan Gilbert, and performed with the New York Philharmonic, St. Louis Symphony, and Cincinnati Symphony. Jennifer is a Term Assistant Professor of Voice and Diction at George Mason University (appointed August 2023) and serves on MD/DC NATS board. She teaches from her home on NE Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, and also offers online lessons.
