Jeffrey Zagaria is the founder and owner of Zagaria Vocal Academy (ZVA), a family-owned vocal education business based in Boca Raton, Florida, with satellite studios in Boynton Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach, Palm Beach, and Miami. He comes from a rich musical heritage with a family tradition of musical performance and education services dating back to the late 1940s. His father, Pasquale (Pat) Zagaria, was a lifetime orchestra leader and private piano/organ teacher, establishing a legacy of over 75 years in music education. Jeffrey began taking piano lessons at age three and had his first public performance in Nursery School. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and completed his Masters Class Diploma in Gospel Music Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music. Jeffrey has performed with world-renowned artists including Celine Dion, Reba McEntire, the Boston Pops Orchestra, Grammy Gospel artist Richard Smallwood, and many others. He has trained clients who have become finalists on The Voice and American Idol and has prepared artists who have entered prestigious music colleges and signed record, TV, and film contracts. As a music educator for over 30 years, Jeffrey has provided private in-studio and online lessons and is the author of the book Know Your Voice and an 8-video lesson program with the same title. Zagaria Vocal Academy was founded with the mission of providing strong foundational education in voice understanding, music, production, and the music business.
