Jeffrey Seppala
About
Dr. Jeffrey Seppala is Associate Professor of Voice and Director of Opera and Musical Theatre at Boise State University. A bass-baritone with extensive operatic and concert experience, he previously taught at Truman State University and the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His performance history includes roles with Opera Idaho, Central City Opera, and Opera Colorado. Dr. Seppala integrates old world techniques with modern pedagogical instruction to assist singers in classical and CCM styles. As a certified yoga instructor, he emphasizes wellness through yoga, body mapping, and Alexander Technique. He maintains active membership in the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), where his students consistently succeed at regional and national competitions.
