Jeffrey Lentz, M.M., is the Senior Artist in Residence in Theatre and Music at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, where he serves as Coordinator of the Vocal Performance Program. An accomplished performer with a Grammy nomination (2004), Jeffrey has graced many of the worlds finest opera houses and concert stages including Lincoln Center, Barbican Hall, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, San Francisco Opera, and Theatre de La Monnaie. He has performed at prestigious festivals including Glyndebourne, Glimmerglass, and Garsington. Specializing in contemporary music theatre and new works, Jeffrey gained international attention performing the title role in Lowell Liebermann`s opera The Picture of Dorian Gray at Opera de Monte Carlo. His accolades include The Lucy G. Moses Fellowship at Yale University, the Kolosvar Prize from NYC Opera, the Pagoda Award for Artistic Achievement from Berks Arts Council, and both the Annadora Vesper Shirk Award for Creative Scholarship and the Lindback Award for Excellence in Teaching at Albright College. At Albright, Jeffrey directs the innovative Vocal Performance Studio, preparing singing artists for careers in musical theatre, opera, jazz, and pop. He brings extensive expertise in acting, directing, vocal technique, and performance viewpoints.
