Jason Leek is a Grammy-nominated musician, vocalist, and voice instructor based in Kingsport, Tennessee. He received a Grammy nomination in 2009 for a gospel project collaboration with renowned Country artist Vince Gill. Jason has also performed as a guest vocalist on Paul Simon's 2010 release. His extensive performance experience includes touring and recording with many of the top bands in the bluegrass genre, including Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver and Marty Raybon. Currently, Jason teaches voice at East Tennessee State University and operates Leek Studios in Kingsport. His teaching philosophy focuses on technique development from proper throat engagement to head voice, providing students with usable knowledge and strong foundations they can build upon independently. Jason offers flexible instruction formats including in-studio, group, and online lessons, and has coached many students to success in singing competitions including Tri Cities Got Talent, Kingsport Idol, America's Got Talent, The Voice, and American Idol.
