Jason Huneycutt

Jason Huneycutt, M.M., is the owner of Cutt Above Music Studio and an adjunct voice instructor at Drury University. With over 20 years of teaching experience in voice, piano, and saxophone, he has developed an individualized teaching approach centered on the philosophy that 'no barriers exist to the student who truly wants to learn.' He served as high school and middle school choral director at Bolivar Public Schools (2019-2023) and Nixa Public Schools (2003-2018), where he directed six award-winning choirs. His ensembles have won multiple awards including the Sweepstakes Trophy at the Worlds of Fun Festival of Choirs. His philosophy emphasizes that 'the process is as important as the product,' combining expert instruction with real-world performance opportunities.
