Jaclyn Bradley is a Board Certified Music Therapist, voice instructor, singer-songwriter, and founder of Rock Town Music Academy in Lorain, Ohio, which opened in 2020. A native of Lorain, she holds an opera degree from Indiana University and has built a diverse career spanning performance, education, research, and teaching. As a performer, Bradley is recognized for her featured appearances on The Voice of Holland, Ireland's Got Talent, and Vh1's Breaking Bonaduce. She has recorded albums in multiple cities including New York and Los Angeles, touring as both a solo artist and backup vocalist. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with notable musicians including Ty Stone (who has worked with Kid Rock and Atlantic Records), Michael Satrazemis (The Walking Dead), Terri Nunn (Berlin), and Joshua Grange (who has worked with Sheryl Crow and Brandi Carlile). Her television and media appearances include MTV, Bravo, TLC, HGTV, and film roles. In addition to her performance work, Bradley has contributed significantly to music therapy research, leading the largest published music therapy study investigating the effect of live music in surgical settings, published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Her Rock Town Music Academy has been recognized with the 2022 Pulse Magazine award for Best Music Instruction in Lorain County. The academy serves students from kindergarten through adulthood, offering comprehensive instruction in voice, piano, guitar, bass, drums, violin, cello, viola, and acting, with lessons available in 30 or 60-minute formats. Bradley's teaching philosophy integrates evidence-based vocal technique with music therapy principles, creating a supportive learning environment that develops both technical skill and artistic expression.
