Irina Petrik is a Ukrainian American operatic soprano serving as a Lecturer and Private Music Instructor at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. Described as having a vivid stage presence and exceptionally powerful voice, she is a versatile performer working across opera, operetta, musical theater, jazz, and traditional ethnic music. Her operatic credits include performances with the National Operetta Theater of Ukraine, Arizona Opera, and Syracuse Opera. She has released an album titled 'Songs From The Heart' and founded the Ukrainian Classical Voice Project (UCVP) in 2022, a groundbreaking educational initiative focused on illuminating Ukrainian vocal music and popularizing Ukrainian classical arias and art songs. Irina brings deep expertise in Stanislavsky acting method, Slavic languages diction for singers, and social justice advocacy for underrepresented creative voices. She is pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Voice Performance at Shenandoah Conservatory and received a Top 40 Under 40 Award from Ukraine's Department of Culture in 2018.
