About
Hunter Enoch is an accomplished bass-baritone with a powerful, ringing voice and magnetic stage presence. He maintains an active performance career with major U.S. opera companies and orchestras, including performances with San Diego Opera, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Washington National Opera, Jacksonville Symphony, and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. His recent roles include Germont in La traviata, various roles from The Ring Cycle (Wotan, Donner) with Dallas Symphony, Grégorio in Roméo et Juliette with Washington National Opera, and Arthur Keller in the world premiere of Touch at Opera Birmingham. Critics have praised his consummate control over the voice's range and his dramatic presence on stage. In addition to his active performance schedule, Hunter is an accomplished vocal instructor at The Academy of Music in Norfolk, teaching private voice lessons to students of all levels. His teaching philosophy emphasizes both technical excellence and artistic expression.
