Heather Korn
About
Heather Korn is the Director and Founder of Music Works Academy in Beatrice, Nebraska, which opened in 2022, and Music Works Studio, established in 2021. A native of Beatrice who graduated from Beatrice High School in 1992, she earned a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she received the Crawford Music Prize, and a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. With over 25 years of experience in music education and performance, Heather brings a wealth of knowledge to her teaching. She has performed and taught music in diverse locations including Iowa, New York City, California, Las Vegas, and Tennessee before returning to her hometown to establish her teaching studios. She provides comprehensive voice instruction to students of all ages and levels, emphasizing proper vocal technique, musical interpretation, and building confidence. Heather is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and is committed to fostering a love of music in her community through high-quality private instruction and group classes.
