Heather Dufault is a professional vocalist with over 30 years of experience as a performer and vocal instructor in the Ottawa region. She founded Singers' Studio in 1992 and has been providing comprehensive singing lessons to beginners and accomplished singers ever since. Prior to establishing her studio in Ottawa, Heather performed professionally as a singer and worked as a singing teacher in Great Britain from 1984 to 1992, where she engaged in private vocal study and built her professional repertoire. She holds a Diploma in vocal pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music at the University of Toronto, ensuring her teaching methodology is grounded in professional standards. Heather has performed in opera, musical theatre, and on the concert stage, both as a soloist and in ensembles. Her teaching approach emphasizes vocal health, proper technique, and musical artistry across multiple genres. She maintains an active teaching studio while continuing her involvement in the Ottawa music community.
