Heather Dudenbostel
About
Heather Dudenbostel is Assistant Professor of Voice and Dramatic Arts and Opera Theater Director at Western Washington University. A soprano and versatile singing actress, she maintains an active performance career across both coasts, including Off-Broadway productions, Pacific Opera performances, and regional theatre productions. Her voice pedagogy centers on helping students develop a healthy, efficient, and balanced production of sound for a lifetime of beautiful singing. Her studio has produced regional opera performers, Broadway touring leads, semi-finalists on American Idol, cruise ship entertainers, and recording artists. As a stage director, she has helmed productions at WWU including A Little Night Music, Kiss Me Kate, and The Secret Garden. She previously taught at AMDA College and NYU, and serves as an adjudicator at vocal conferences. She holds membership in NATS and NOA.
