Hayato Arai

About

Hayato moved to NYC with his high school graduation in 2000. After that, he attended a music school in NYC and took vocal lessons. After graduating from IAR (Institute of audio research) in 2004, he worked as a recording engineer at Bushwick Studio in Brooklyn. After returning to Japan, he worked as a vocal coach for many artists while working for a major Japanese label as an artist himself. He was also the chief instructor at a major vocal school, leading many artists to their debuts. With a career spanning 25 years, he has established his own studio, VOCOLAB, in Nakameguro, Tokyo in 2024. He will continue to research and work daily to bridge the gap between vocal coaching in Japan and the world so that he can help many people's dreams come true.
