Harrison Fisher

Harrison Fisher is a voice and piano instructor based in Cary, North Carolina, serving the Research Triangle area including Raleigh and Durham. With 47 years of professional music experience and 30 years as a singer, composer, conductor, and pianist in New York City, he brings extensive expertise across multiple vocal styles. His first eight years were spent in NYC as a Broadway and club singer, oratorio soloist, and member of the Robert Shaw Chorale. He has composed scores for SESAME STREET and other television productions, as well as musical plays for young people. Harrison helps students find their voice and confidence regardless of whether their preference is Opera, Pop, Country, or Musical Theatre. Along with voice-building, he teaches the Stanislavski method "Acting through song" with voice students, emphasizing that "If you can speak, you can sing: in tune, and with a free, crowd-pleasing sound." He also teaches music theory and classical and jazz piano.
