Georgi Mirostranov is an accomplished bass-baritone vocalist and vocal coach with extensive international operatic experience. He received his comprehensive training in piano, conducting, and singing at the prestigious State Conservatory in St. Petersburg, Russia, and continued his studies at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City. Following his graduation from the International Opera Studio in Zürich, Switzerland, Georgi launched a distinguished operatic career performing at some of Europe's most renowned opera houses, including Zürich Opera House, Theater Basel, Opéra de Toulon, Opéra National du Rhin, and Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. His professional achievements include winning the Prix de Chant Pro Arte Lyrica in Lausanne (1988), the Grand Prize at the Concours International de Chant de Verviers (1993), and the Concurs Internacional de Cant Francisco Vinas (1994). Since 1994, Georgi has maintained a respected voice and piano studio in the United States, where he specializes in developing voices with ample volume, purity of intonation, and vocal endurance. He employs the Stanislavsky method in his teaching, trained by his father who was a full-time actor and stage director at the Pushkin Drama Theater and the Musical Comedy Theater in St. Petersburg.
