Franchesca Dastrup
About
Franchesca Dastrup is an energetic, passionate music educator who views music should be produced with the intention to touch each person who hears it. She teaches piano, voice, and music theory, having mentored students since 6th grade. She has been teaching voice since 2008 after completing her Masters degree. A concert pianist and vocalist with musical theater credits including West Side Story, Phantom of the Opera, and Carousel, she has also done studio work for films and collaborated with Lincoln Center NYC. She is a member of Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and welcomes students of all ages and skill levels with customized lesson plans emphasizing well-rounded musicianship.
