Eric Stoklossa

Eric Stoklossa is an acclaimed tenor from Dresden, Germany, and associate professor of voice at Texas Tech University. He has performed at major international venues including the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala, and Opera Bastille. He is particularly renowned for his oratorio interpretations, especially Bach's major choral works. His academic responsibilities at Texas Tech include voice instruction, oratorio literature courses, and German diction instruction. Since joining Texas Tech in 2019, he performs regularly in Texas, promoting German Lied and Bach's music in the region while nurturing developing musicians through his teaching.
