Emma Rose Lynn
About
Emma Rose Lynn is a versatile vocalist in demand as a performer and teacher of repertoire spanning the medieval to modern periods. She has been profiled by both the Seattle Times and the Eugene Weekly for her entrepreneurial approach in making Art Song readily accessible to modern audiences. Building community through music is one of her driving passions in life; she seeks to build bridges and bring people together in celebration of live music through teaching, song-leading, skill building, and empowerment work with singers of all levels within The Empowered Voice community. Emma is a student of The Alexander Technique, and her work as an activist in the realms of racial and eco-justice informs the way she approaches and invites singers into a loving, compassionate, and trauma-informed relationship with the resilient bodies that house our unique voices and stories. Specializing in recovery from vocal injury, Emma helps singers develop coordinated and expressive singing and use voice practices to establish technical and expressive access to the full range of the voice.
