Emily Smith, MM, is an Instructor of Voice in the Department of Music at the University of Nevada, Reno. She has been teaching voice and piano lessons professionally since graduating with her Master's degree in Music in 2019 from the University of Nevada, Reno. An Ohio native, she performed as a soloist with regional ensembles including the Cleveland Orchestra, Akron Symphony, and Summit Choral Society. She is an active member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) for over 10 years, with competitive placements in the Advanced Women's Category. She collaborates with local Reno-area musicians, sings and conducts through the Sierra Music Society, and coaches students in surrounding school districts. She has extensive experience in Early Music Ensembles, opera, sacred music, and contemporary music performance.
