Emily Erkman

About

Emily Erkman has been performing professionally for over 15 years. She has trained classically, in musical theatre, and contemporary music. Among her training, she has studied pedagogy and voice with world renowned vocal teacher, Justin Stoney. Emily began performing for regional theatre in New York and various venues in Colorado. She has been performing her original music as well as popular music in bands and small ensembles since 2008. Emily takes the time to get to know her students and strives to help them sing the way they want to sing. Music is a part of your soul, and Emily not only aids students in understanding their voices, she also helps them build the confidence they need to succeed. She is passionate about helping students sing music that they actually want to sing, while also learning the fundamental techniques all singers need to know. She started her studio with the idea that all people should have the opportunity to grow in their voices.
