Emilia Mekuria

Piano and voice instructor with a passion for helping young students love music. Emilia Mekuria began classical piano training at age five at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. She has performed in numerous piano and choir recitals and maintained an active role in church music programs. Her first accompaniment position was at Calvary Baptist Church in Missouri, followed by volunteer work at Fellowship at Western Oaks and Reaching Our City Nazarene Church. Beyond music instruction, she brings experience working with youth through various community roles, including VBS leadership, youth ministry support, camp counseling at Camp Fire Heart of Oklahoma, and art instruction at Rogers County Youth Services in Claremore, Oklahoma. Emilia views music as an amazing outlet for students to express how they are feeling tangibly.

Bachelor of Arts in Music with emphasis in Piano and Voice from Southern Nazarene University
