Elise Behunin is a coloratura soprano and voice teacher based in Fort Collins, Colorado, with over a decade of active teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Brigham Young University (2012), graduating cum laude. Elise brings a rich performance background to her instruction, having performed operatic roles including the Pirates of Penzance, Midsummer Nights Dream, The Gondoliers, and Le nozze di Figaro. She studied and performed in France for approximately two years, developing extensive multilingual singing capabilities. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes healthy vocal production and development of sustainable technique across all musical styles. Elise is fluent in French and has singing experience in English, Italian, Danish, Finnish, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, and other languages. She works with students of all ages and levels, offering private voice coaching, ensemble direction, and public speaking vocal coaching.
