Ed Cohn
About
Ed Cohn brings over 20 years of experience to his teaching of vocal technique and style. A seasoned performer himself, he is accomplished in many styles from Opera and Musical Theater to Jazz, Pop, Rock and R&B to Country. Beginning in 1990, Ed began teaching and coaching singing and has been refining his craft ever since. He was a founding member of a nationally acclaimed contemporary a cappella group that for 17 years explored all things voice - an experience that expanded his vocal knowledge exponentially. Ed has developed his own group of exercises that apply to all styles of singing that will ensure a tension-free, smooth, consistent technique that enhances tone, range, power and control. He also offers lessons via Skype and FaceTime for remote instruction.
