About
Dr. Erin Lewis is an accomplished vocal coach, music educator, and certified health coach with more than 20 years of experience as a certified music teacher and voice instructor. She holds a PhD in Communication Media and Instructional Technology and is a classically trained singer with expertise across multiple vocal genres. Dr. Lewis is passionate about teaching with purpose and intention, using creativity to build student confidence and vocal health. She specializes in helping singers develop healthy vocal techniques for Christian/Praise music, musical theater, classical, opera, and contemporary styles. In addition to private voice instruction, she leads small group music classes and directs a week-long summer music camp for school-aged children. Dr. Lewis takes a holistic approach to vocal training, coaching singers on physical conditioning, nutrition, breath management, stress reduction, and performance confidence—viewing the singer's body as an instrument requiring comprehensive care. She currently advises the PennWest Clarion University Theatrical Alliance student group, mentors young vocalists through private instruction, and teaches at creative and performing arts summer camps. Her students range from beginners to advanced performers seeking to improve their technique, build confidence, or prepare for performances and auditions.
