Dr. Brenda Lang
About
Dr. Brenda Lang is a voice instructor with over 30 years of professional teaching experience in the Cincinnati area. She earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Cincinnati-College Conservatory of Music, where she studied voice with Mary Henderson-Stucky. For 29 years, Dr. Lang served as the lead voice instructor at Cincinnati Christian University, where she taught voice, music theory, vocal pedagogy, and advanced choral conducting. She directed a 40-voice Concert Choir and 25-voice a cappella group called Resonate, and produced annual theatrical productions including Fiddler on the Roof and The Music Man. Dr. Lang employs an individualized teaching approach that emphasizes understanding both the mechanics and philosophy of healthy vocal technique. She teaches students of all ages from middle school through senior adults, specializing in multiple genres including classical, musical theater, gospel, Contemporary Christian Music, and popular music. She has performed and toured internationally, including performances in Brazil. Her commitment to student development and long-term vocal health has made her one of Cincinnati's most respected voice teachers.
