Dr. Ashley West-Davis is a professional soprano, voice instructor, and music educator with extensive experience in classical and contemporary vocal performance. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance from Texas Tech University, a Master of Music in Voice Performance from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre from Coker University. Dr. West-Davis is a crossover artist whose performance credits include principal soprano roles with Opera Carolina, performances with Actor's Theatre of Charlotte, and vocal coaching for the Off-Broadway premiere of 'Here There Be Dragons: A New Musical Quest' (2022). She currently serves as Education Director and Production Manager at The Green Room in Newton, NC, and maintains a private voice studio serving students throughout the Western Piedmont region. Her teaching experience includes faculty positions at Lenoir-Rhyne University, Winthrop University, and Texas Tech University. Dr. West-Davis specializes in classical vocal technique, opera, musical theater performance preparation, and artistic development for singers of all levels.
