Dr. Alyssa Becker

About

Dr. Alyssa Becker is a Teaching Associate of Voice at Drake University and a mezzo-soprano who has performed internationally across China, the Baltics, and throughout the United States. She specializes in cross-training singers across musical styles and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Minnesota, Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Drake University. Her students have been admitted to prestigious institutions including Berklee College of Music, University of Minnesota, and Boston Conservatory at Berklee, with many winning NATS competitions. Dr. Becker is particularly skilled in vibrato control and vocal technique for musical theater singers.
