Dorothy Gal is a Polish-American soprano and professional opera singer currently teaching private voice and piano lessons in West Palm Beach, Florida. With a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from Rice University and a Bachelor of Music degree from Mannes College in New York City, Ms. Gal brings extensive classical training to her studio. She is the vocal instructor for Palm Beach Opera's high school studio program, where she guides young artists in developing their voices and performance abilities. Ms. Gal has performed with prestigious opera companies including Houston Grand Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, and the Aspen Opera Center, and was a Vocal Fellow at Ravinia's Steans Music Institute. She is a recipient of the prestigious Richard F. Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation and 2nd Place Prizewinner in Houston Grand Opera's Eleanor McCollum Competition. In her private studio, Ms. Gal offers voice lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, specializing in classical technique, opera repertoire, musical theatre, and pop styles. She also provides audition preparation and piano lessons.
