Davida Kagen is an experienced vocal instructor with over 35 years of teaching and professional performance experience in the U.S. and Europe. She operates a private studio in Kenmore, Washington, teaching across the greater Seattle metropolitan area including Bellevue, Redmond, Sammamish, Mercer Island, and Kirkland. Her career has included work with the Zürich Opera Studio. Davida instructs students across multiple vocal genres including classical opera, musical theatre (belting, mixed voice, legit technique), and jazz and pop styles. She works with students beginning around age 10 through professional-level singers, offering services including audition preparation, acting coaching, diction instruction, breath control training, and assistance with addressing performance anxiety. She prepares students for college/graduate school auditions and vocal competitions.
