David Tahere

David Tahere is an Assistant Professor of Music at Covenant College in Chattanooga and a professional baritone. He brings extensive performance experience with companies including the Chattanooga Symphony, Opera Tennessee, and the Pop-Up Project. David is passionate about developing healthy vocal technique and helping students find their authentic voice. He offers both in-person and virtual lessons and conducts group classes focusing on movement, technique, and musicianship. His multicultural background and diverse performance experience allow him to teach across multiple genres with authenticity and expertise.

Education & Qualifications

Master of Music (MM), Temple University, 2011; Bachelor of Music (BM), Lee University, 2008. Member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
