David MacAdam

David MacAdam is an accomplished tenor and Associate Performance Instructor in Voice at Carleton University. With a BMus and MMus in vocal performance, he brings thirty years of professional singing experience to his teaching. David has performed professionally throughout Canada and the United States and is recognized by critics as an exemplary singer and performing artist. As an Associate Performance Instructor at Carleton University, he has successfully guided students through Bachelor of Music programs in Classical, Musical Theatre, and Popular Voice styles. David founded the Orlรฉans Vocal Academy, where he specializes in developing students' vocal, musical, language and performance skills across multiple genres from beginner to professional levels. He works closely with students on audition preparation and university music program guidance. David's teaching approach emphasizes understanding the human voice and applying healthy vocal technique across all musical styles.
