Dasha Teelin
About
Dasha Teelin is an active performer and educator with over 25 years of voice instruction experience. She serves as Instructor of Voice at Pensacola State College and operates Dasha Vocal Training Studio. Teelin has mentored numerous students who advanced to television competitions, recording contracts, and careers in major music markets including NYC, LA, Nashville, and Atlanta. She founded Southern Vocal Collective in 2019, a professional choral organization that combines professional singers with college students in an educational framework. As a performer, she has taken lead roles in original productions and operatic works including Puccini operas and Copland works with various companies. She is also co-founder of Celtic Crossroads, performing flute, whistle, and vocals at Celtic festivals throughout Mississippi. Teelin studied alongside renowned professionals from New York Citys Metropolitan Opera and Italys La Scala, including notable instructors Nico and Carol Castel and Giovanna Maresta.
