Daniel Bircher
About
Daniel Trevor Bircher is a classically-trained baritone with over 25 years of experience teaching students through his Bircher Voice Studio, serving both Bryan-College Station and Brenham, Texas. He holds a Master of Music in Voice and Opera Performance from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Abilene Christian University. A Metropolitan Opera Auditions winner (Francesco & Hilda Riggio Award), Bircher maintains an active career as both an educator and performing artist, performing opera, musical theater, oratorio, and concert works across the United States and Europe. He is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and holds Lifetime Membership in the National Federation of Music Clubs, as well as a Professional Teaching License in Music and Theatre (EC-12, State of Texas). His students have achieved remarkable success, including selection for All-State and regional honor choirs, acceptance to prestigious summer programs in the US and Europe, enrollment at universities including NYU, Boston University, Baylor, and Texas State, and lead roles in local musical theater productions. In addition to his private studio, Bircher teaches for Oklahoma Christian University and has served as artistic director, music director, and stage director for numerous productions at regional and collegiate levels.
