Damon K. Clark is an international vocalist and musician from Dallas, Texas, recognized for his distinctly wide vocal range, lyrical sensitivity, sublime musical virtuosity, and versatile musical style. He studied at Northwestern State University and has over 20 years as a professional vocalist. Damon began his career as an opera singer and later ventured into folk, rock, neo-soul, and jazz. He is the winner of 2022 InterContinental Music Awards (North American division) and was nominated for Dallas Observer Music Award for Best Jazz Vocalist for two consecutive years. He has been featured in New York Times, D Magazine, Dallas Observer, and Modern Luxury Magazine. He has performed and toured globally, recently completing a tour of Central and South America. He has opened for Grammy-nominated artist Paula Cole and comedian Jen Kirkman, and has collaborated with Tony Award-winning actor Cedric Neal and opera singers including John Holiday (The Voice contestant). He was the soloist and co-music director for a multi-arts organizational fundraiser for the 30th anniversary of the HIV/AIDS crisis at the prestigious Winspear Opera House in Dallas. He started teaching almost 20 years ago and now specializes in vocal coaching for professional vocalists as well as students of all education and experience levels, using the Bel Canto method.
