Cynthia Eggers
About
Cynthia Eggers is an accomplished voice instructor with extensive performing and teaching experience across New York City and Connecticut since 1999. She holds a Masters degree in voice performance and pedagogy from Westminster Choir College and was awarded the Carnegie Hall American Protégé Diploma of Recognition in 2016 for her teaching excellence. She earned a Gold Record from Atlantic/Lava Records for her solo singing on The Trans Siberian Orchestras Lost Christmas Eve album (2004). Eggers teaches vocal technique to all ages at the Educational Center for The Arts and the Neighborhood Music School in New Haven. Her lessons center on learning the biology of singing with focus on resonance, articulation, breathing, and posture. She mentors students across multiple genres including classical recitals, jazz, musical theatre, and opera.
