Cynthia Donnell

Cynthia Donnell is an accomplished mezzo-soprano and Associate Professor of Voice and Lyric Diction in the Music Department at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her extensive experience as a soloist includes performances with the Richmond Symphony, Virginia Opera, Richmond Opera, and many other regional orchestras and ensembles. Donnell is an active member of The Voice Foundation and brings a specialized expertise in lyric diction to her teaching. She is dedicated to helping her students develop strong vocal technique while deepening their understanding and interpretation of vocal repertoire across languages and styles.
