Cristina Rosheger
About
Cristina Rosheger is a soprano from the Chicagoland area and voice instructor at the Music Conservatory of Illinois in Evanston. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Voice Performance at DePaul University, where she was an active performer in the DePaul Opera Theatre and DePaul University Choirs. During her studies, she performed numerous leading soprano roles with the DePaul Opera Theatre, including Rose Maurrant in Street Scene, Fiordiligi in Così fan tutte, Alice Ford in Falstaff, and Giunone in La Calisto, demonstrating her versatility across classical opera repertoire. Her international study experiences have enriched her musical training, having attended summer study programs in Urbino, Italy and Graz, Austria, where she studied language and culture alongside operatic repertoire and advanced vocal technique. These experiences have developed her expertise in European operatic traditions and Italian language diction. As a voice instructor, Rosheger offers personalized vocal training in classical and opera styles to students of all levels, helping them develop strong vocal technique, interpret operatic roles, and prepare for performances and competitions.
