Cris O'Bryon
About
Cris O'Bryon is a Music Director, Vocal Coach, and Adjunct Professor at Boise State University with over 30 years of experience as a voice teacher and vocal coach accompanist. A professional actor and voiceover artist since 1993, he has worked as Music Director and Sound Designer for hundreds of projects. Cris coaches students ages 4-77, many of whom have attended prestigious institutions including NYU-Tisch, Indiana University, Carnegie-Mellon, and Boston Conservatory, winning substantial scholarships. He has extensive stage experience including Broadway tours and world premieres with award-winning directors and composers. His expertise spans musical theatre, classical voice, voiceover work (25+ years), and coaching in audition preparation, character development, and performance technique. He is a proud member of NATS and an adjudicator for NHSMTA (The Jimmys) through The Broadway League. Cris teaches all skill levels in both in-person and virtual formats from his studio in Meridian, Idaho.
