Cooper Nolan
About
Cooper Nolan is a professional tenor and co-founder of Gainesville Voice Studio (now the vocal department at LyriCo Conservatory). He holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Florida. Praised for his 'bright, shining tenor' and 'powerhouse voice' by Opera News and Musical America, Mr. Nolan has performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall and has sung leading roles at Theater Aachen, Minnesota Opera, Santa Fe Opera, and Fort Wayne Philharmonic. Notable roles include Hermann in Pique Dame, Canio in Pagliacci, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Don José in Carmen, and Bacchus in Ariadne auf Naxos. A two-time Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions District Winner, he has also performed alongside Thomas Hampson in a gala honoring Marilyn Horne. Mr. Nolan brings over 10 years of professional performing and teaching experience to his students in Gainesville, Florida.
