Clifford Billions
About
Clifford Billions is a professional tenor who launched his career in New York City's Metropolitan Opera Studio. He has performed in 30 leading opera roles including Faust, Rodolfo, Tamino, and Don Ottavio across the United States in opera, oratorio, and recital settings. Notable performances include Carnegie Hall engagements with renowned artists and leading tenor roles at the Darmstadt Opera in Germany. Billions has taught voice at Cleveland Institute of Music since 2005 and conducts masterclasses nationally and internationally, including at National Association of Teachers of Singing conventions and numerous collegiate institutions. His students have performed with major opera companies and European opera houses, demonstrating his approach to professional-level vocal training and operatic performance development. He brings his professional performance experience directly into his pedagogical work.
Education & Qualifications
Master's degree in voice performance from Converse College School of Music. Additional training and performance experience at major opera centers.
