Cindy Hospedales is a multi-genre musician, songwriter, and voice teacher based in Brooklyn, New York, with over 20 years of experience teaching hundreds of musicians. She founded Cindy's Music School, offering functional voice training and vocal coaching across R&B, Soul, Gospel, Pop, Jazz, Musical Theater, and Classical styles. Cindy's personal mission is to help students find, embrace, and express their unique voice through student-centered lessons tailored to individual interests rather than prescribed repertoire. Her teaching approach emphasizes discovering each student's authentic musical expression while building solid technical foundations. In addition to voice instruction, Cindy teaches piano (beginner to intermediate levels), music reading and ear training, and facilitates R&B songwriting. Her school offers comprehensive music education including guitar, bass guitar, upright bass, ukulele, viola, violin, and cello, as well as corporate workshops and toddler instruction. Cindy's philosophy centers on empowering students to develop their own musical voice and artistic identity across all contemporary and traditional genres.
