Christopher W. Pfund is an Associate Professor of Voice at the University of Florida School of Music, where he teaches Studio Voice, Song Literature, and serves as Voice Area Coordinator. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from The City University of New York Graduate Center (2019), along with degrees from the University of Northern Colorado and Manhattan School of Music. His doctoral dissertation, 'Johann Nauwach's Teütscher Villanellen; A Critical Performance Edition with Performance Practice Commentary,' was published by ProQuest in 2019. As a tenor, Pfund has performed extensively and brings both scholarly and practical expertise to his teaching at the University of Florida.
