About

Christina Cruz is an active performer and educator based in Shreveport, Louisiana, who owns and operates Cruz Vocal Arts Studio. She holds a BM in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University and an MSE in Early Childhood Education with a focus in Music and the Visual Arts from Indiana University. With over ten years of teaching experience, she has completed all three levels of Somatic Voicework™ the LoVetri Method, coupled with training in Kodaly. Christina serves as the Director of Education for Stage Center and the junior academy music director and guest vocal instructor for Shreveport Little Theatre Academy. Her studio provides individually tailored voice instruction for teens and adults seeking greater vocal mastery and freedom, as well as developmentally appropriate vocal instruction for young singers ages 2 and up. She has performed with Prisma, The St. Cecilia Diocesan Choir, and Shreveport Opera.
